I'm not certain when birthdays transitioned from one special day to a weeks worth of events, but I have every day this week planned precisely to accommodate celebratory dates with family and friends, as well as a busy event schedule.

That's getting really close to 50 and I still cannot wrap my head around that age. In my mind, I am mid-30's, and in my mid-30's mind, 50 was pretty old. It makes me smile.
By no means am I old, I remain classic.
