Porky Porky Little Piggy

When I am not with her, I miss my granddaughter like crazy. Sofia and I open her gift from my friend Angie, a book Bedtime Devotions with Jesus. This is a special book to be kept at my house for us to read.

Porky, porky, porky little piggy! I laugh when I see her, my sweet little chubby granddaughter! Those little fluffy rolls are so precious. 

That gummy smile melts my heart. <3 This is me doing my best to capture her attention and I did.

And when my sweet little one gets overly tired and cannot fall asleep, I put her in her favorite position since she was a newborn. Her little face nestled in my neck and I snuggle her little chubby legs up close into fetal position and she goes right to sleep.

I can feel her soft velvety skin, her warm little breaths, and I breathe in her sweet baby scent. 

I am so in love with this little girl. 

And her mommy, my little girl, I get to spend a lot of quality time with and life conversations. She still stands in my arms for many hugs & kisses, too.

Investing as much time as possible and establishing a wonderful relationship with her, my dark-haired, brown-eyed beauty and Friday night date, my sweet Sofia. I couldn't wait to pick her up after work and bring her home with me. <3

A time to watch funny cat videos and a time to read thoughtfully in a corner.

A time to delay gratification and a time for lavish gifts.

A time to keep and a time to throw away,

A time for Facebook and a time to shut Facebook down,

A time for Facetime and a time to see in person,

A time for digital advances and a time for retreat.

I was not aware of photos being taken. This is the look of countless prayers, a miracle about to happen, and me about to meet my grand baby 19 hours later after being woke up at 3:30 a.m.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. 

I beg to differ. 

Countless thoughts and words can be written to capture these moments. It is like saying, "I love you to the moon and back." That is so limited when the universe is endless. Much like love ... 

I never knew a baby could come out with fat rolls. My gosh she is a beauty!
